Varso Place with two Eurobuild Awards 2020
The winners of the prestigious Eurobuild Awards 2020 have finally been announced. The long-awaited ceremony provided us with a double prize! Varso Place has been selected best new office building in Poland and in the Central & Eastern Europe.
The jury consisted of 229 professionals experienced in the real estate industry. Evaluating the nominees they considered the reputation of the project, the occupancy figures, its financial results, the quality of the design and specification, sustainable certification, and its development history.
Designed by the studio HRA Architekci the two completed buildings of Varso Place have been awarded with "New Office Building of the Year, Poland" and the "New Office Building of the Year, CEE" titles. Congratulations to everyone involved in the development of Varso Place.
Both buildings are practically fully leased and are home to Polish and international companies, including Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, the Cambridge Innovation Center, Orsted, Nvidia, Workday, VISA, act BSWW law firm, Ipsen and Yves Rocher. The ground floor is occupied by a retail shopping arcade while the Varso 1 building houses the four-star NYX Hotel Warsaw.
The quality and standard of Varso Place's sustainable solutions were recognised with the highest “Outstanding” rating against the BREEAM international certification scheme. It was also one of the first projects in Poland to be rated “Gold” in the WELL pre-certification system, where auditors measure the impact of buildings on people’s mental and physical health. The complete Varso 1 and Varso 2 buildings have also obtained the Obiekt bez Barier certificate awarded by Fundacja Integracja.
