More restaurants and amenities to open in Varso Place

September 19, 2024

HB Reavis, the owner and property manager of commercial real estate, has signed new lease agreements for over 1,000 sqm of space in Varso Place. The retail offer of the mixed-used development in central Warsaw will soon include trendy culinary concepts Palms Burger, Tai Din, Yashi Sushi, Wybitnie Nieznani restaurant, Semifreddo bakery and Vino&Vino store, as well as useful amenities.

Varso Place consists of three towers developed by HB Reavis on Chmielna Street in Warsaw. The award-winning place has transformed the once neglected area into one of the new symbols of the Polish capital. It includes the highest skyscraper in the European Union, Varso Tower. Both office employees and local neighbours use the retail offer available in the buildings. The premises, open to everyone, are bustling with life not only at lunchtime, but also after hours and on weekends.

At the turn of the year, Varso Place visitors will be welcomed by new culinary offerings. Palms Burger is an American cuisine concept serving smash burgers. Their cooking technique involves pounding thinly and frying ground beef on a hot grill. In addition to buttery buns with tender and juicy meat, its menu will include smoothies and ice creams. Asian cuisine enthusiasts will be delighted by the planned opening of Tai Din, whose menu will be inspired by the flavours originating from Thailand, Vietnam and India. Fans of popular Japanese classics will certainly appreciate the offer of the Yashi Sushi restaurant. The author of these concepts is Dominik Tomczykowski, well-known on the Warsaw gastronomic scene.

The new Wybitnie Nieznani restaurant will also debut on the culinary map of Warsaw. The idea for the new restaurant in Varso Place is the brainchild of General Director Adam Fabisiak, manager of popular Warsaw restaurants such as MizumiSushi, Projekt 44 and Niewinni Czarodzieje.

The food and beverage offer of Varso Place also includes the previously opened restaurants Quattro Formaggi, Salad Story, Meet&Eat, as well as the Green Caffè Nero, Gorąco Polecam and the Vincent café bakery.

We are striving to make the ground floor offer of Varso Place more attractive by expanding it with new tenants and adapting to the needs of the office employees and residents in our vicinity.

Thanks to the new agreements, guests of the building will gain an even greater choice of places where they can eat a nutritious breakfast, a tasty lunch or dinner with friends. The diverse retail offer and convenient amenities make Varso Place a natural meeting place in the city centre where our customers have everything at their fingertips. We are in talks with more brands that we hope will soon join the group of Varso Place's retail tenants

– comments Monika Koczwara, Retail Senior Leasing Manager at HB Reavis Investments Poland.

Semifreddo confectionery will provide a wide selection of desserts and fresh bread at attractive prices. Baked goods here are made exclusively from natural ingredients and without the addition of artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The Vino&Vino store will offer a wide range of wines and spirits as well as food products such as cheeses, Italian pasta, delicatessen meats, fresh fish and seafood.

Office workers and visitors can satisfy their daily needs in the Rossmann, Żabka, Paper Concept, Relay stores, the Hair & Nail Spa salon, the Enterprise Rent-a-Car and the Mr Wash car wash. What is more, the Voxel diagnostics centre will begin operating here, which performs tomography tests and magnetic resonance imaging. The range of services available on-site will soon include the 1913Kantor currency exchange and money transfers, as well as the Eko Top laundry and tailoring services. Varso Place already houses the NYX Warsaw hotel, the Zdrofit fitness club, the PZU Zdrowie medical centre, and next year the Magnicity Warsaw viewing terrace and bar will be opened.

Varso Place has received the highest rating in the BREEAM rating, which indicates its low energy demand. Architects designed the public space with concern for health and inclusiveness, which is confirmed by the obtained WELL and Building without Barriers certificates. Several dozen trees were planted around, on the roofs and in the spacious lobby, which is decorated with a handmade ceramic mosaic. The location next to the Warsaw Central Station provides excellent access to public transport.
